As of May 2022, we've changed the name of our CRM software from KundenMeister to 1Tool.
Why a new name?
The software has evolved enormously over the past 10 years. Starting out as contact management and newsletter distribution, we've grown the solution over the past decade into a comprehensive business software – one that doesn't just “master” your customers, but lets you run your entire company with it. The “KundenMeister” branding only reflected one or two modules – definitely not all the comprehensive modules and features the software offers today. To reflect this wealth of features, all delivered in ONE tool, a new name was needed. On top of that, we've gained many customers from home and abroad who couldn't even pronounce “KundenMeister” properly 🙂
The journey to a new name
Over the past months and years, we'd already been intensively exploring naming options, evaluating many different candidates and debating them heatedly in-house. We went looking for a name that would bring all our existing modules together under one tool – and one under which we could also unite future modules and apps. And it was with exactly this perspective that we arrived at 1Tool.
One tool that every employee in the company can use to manage their daily work. To that end, 1Tool now offers nearly 30 different modules.
Among other things, the new brand name had to meet certain requirements: we wanted a simple, short name that anyone could pronounce, regardless of language. We wanted a name that conveys that a single piece of software can manage an entire company or organization – that you need nothing more than one single tool. 1Tool.
Why 1Tool? We love the name 1Tool because it's short. Memorable. It sounds good. And it says exactly what we mean: you don't need a huge pile of different tools with different interfaces and integrations. You need just one solution. One interface. One login. One app. 1Tool.
Looking ahead
And the journey of 1Tool is only just beginning. We have big plans for 1Tool! Going forward, we'll be adding many new features while also improving and simplifying existing modules. Numerous interfaces and plugins are planned, and further integrations are in the works.
So we have a lot planned over the coming months and years. Stay tuned for some surprises 🙂
