Hap-Ki-Do kids' training — a short glimpse.
I keep getting asked what a Hap-Ki-Do class with kids actually looks like. This short video from the training hall in Leibnitz shows it better than any description could: focused kids in a range of belt colors, a full dojo — and right in the middle of it, me and my co-trainer.
What matters to me
It's never just about strikes or kicks. It's about respect for training partners, about discipline you hold yourself to, and about the confidence that grows when you stick with a hard exercise until it clicks. Those are exactly the themes that follow me as a father too, and one of the reasons I wrote my book, "The Art of Parenting Through Chaos."
Training instead of theory
Kids don't learn confidence through explanations — they learn it through experience. Once you've demonstrated a move in front of the whole group, passed an exam, or earned a higher belt, you know firsthand that effort pays off. That's an experience no screen can replace.
