Protecting your personal data matters to me. This website deliberately processes as little data as possible. Below I explain what data is processed, and to what extent.

Data controller

Ing. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Mario Körbler, MBA, Hofweg 1, 8435 Leitring, Austria. See the Legal Notice for contact details.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics). No user profiles are created.

Hosting

This website is hosted via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA, USA; for European users: Cloudflare Germany GmbH or Cloudflare International Ltd.). When you access the site, technical access data (including IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, and the browser used) is automatically processed in so-called server logs. This serves the technical provision, stability, and security of the website (legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is retained only as long as necessary for that purpose. A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare.

Contacting me by email

If you contact me by email, your details (email address and message content) are processed solely to handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Your data is not passed on to third parties.

Embedded videos

Some pages include YouTube videos. These are embedded as a "two-click solution": initially only a preview image is shown, with no connection made to YouTube/Google. Only once you actively click the video is the content loaded from youtube-nocookie.com — at that point your IP address may be transmitted to Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC, potentially including transfer to the US. Google's own privacy policy then applies. Other videos on this site (e.g. the Hap-Ki-Do kids' training clip) are served exclusively from this website itself, with no third party involved.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Simply contact me at the address above.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at) if you believe the processing of your data violates the GDPR.
